Un Amore Debole (2022)

"Un Amore Debole" is Ada Oda debut album, out on November 25th 2022.

Ada Oda is a newcomer in the Brussels scene, playing an up-tempo binary rock that might remind you of some post-punk bands but also of the melodic flights of famous Italian popsongs. A strange mix where ESG clashes with Lucio Battisti through songs that speak of loves gone bad and the people we meet.   Ten tracks, sung in Italian, composed and written by Cesar Laloux and Victoria Barracato during the pandemic.

The artwork refers to the title of the album, Victoria's biceps depicting strength, ... well, more or less.

In the meantime the duo turned into a quintet and they are about to embark on a tour in the fall of 2022 that will take them all over Europe.

Pelle d'Oca (2025)

Ada Oda steps into 2025 with Pelle d’Oca, an album where pleasure and fear collide against a backdrop of post-punk and Italian melodies. Written between 2023 and 2024 by César Laloux and recorded between Pisa, Ghent, and Atlanta, it explores fear in all its forms: impossible love (Settembre), jealousy (Sotto la Conchiglia), and a world in decline (Figlia d’Europa).

11 tracks, 32 minutes of raw, urgent pop, where Victoria Barracato’s intense vocals shift between emo-style singing and breathless parlando. On stage, Ada Oda delivers feverish, electrifying performances, fueled by raw energy and a visceral connection with the audience. With a debut album in hand, the band has played major festivals such as Rock en Seine and Europavox (FR), Pukkelpop and Dour (BE), South by Southwest (US), FME (CA), Fusion Festival and Reeperbahn (DE), ESNS and Best Kept Secret (NL), MI AMI Festival (IT), and Monkey Week (ES), to name just a few.

Pelle d’Oca will be released on February 21, 2025, preceded by three singles starting in October 2024.
